Chief Financial Officer (CFO) — International Technology Business

Our client is an international technology company looking for a commercially minded, hands-on CFO to join the executive team and partner directly with the CEO on the next stage of global growth. This is not a traditional reporting-focused CFO role. We are looking for someone who can manage complex international finance operations, understand technology-driven business models, and actively identify new opportunities for growth and margin improvement. Key responsibilities include: Lead financial strategy, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and cash flow Oversee IFRS reporting, financial controls, compliance, and governance Manage international banks, auditors, payment providers, and advisors Oversee finance across multiple international jurisdictions Manage crypto-related financial operations and transactions Drive BI, automation, and AI initiatives Partner with the CEO on growth, international expansion, profitability, and new business opportunities We're looking for someone with: Proven in-house senior finance leadership experience as a CFO, Finance Director, or Head of Finance within an operating company — consulting/advisory experience alone is not sufficient Experience in GameDev, iGaming, Neobanking, FinTech, Payments, SaaS, or a similar technology business — mandatory Strong expertise in IFRS, Corporate Finance, FP&A, Treasury, and Cash Flow Experience with international banking, cross-border operations, and multiple jurisdictions Solid hands-on experience with crypto and crypto-related transactions Hands-on experience with Power BI or similar BI tools Entrepreneurial, flexible, and commercially minded — someone who looks for solutions and actively contributes to business growth and margin improvement Fluent English and Russian What’s on offer: Remote start with planned relocation to Cyprus Competitive compensation + annual performance bonus Official Cyprus employment contract and benefits Direct partnership with the CEO and significant influence on the company’s international growth strategy
